St. Mark's International School, Kalindipuram, Prayagraj, UP, started as a PRE-SCHOOL, soon upgraded to PRIMARY SCHOOL, with plans to establish ICSE affiliated ST. MARK’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL &COLLEGE, providing state of art seamless teaching from PLAYSCHOOL to TWELFTH STANDARD in near future, for which a new campus is being developed 2 Km away from the airport! As an educationist, our initial aim was to concentrate on PRE-SCHOOL education for a child and PRE-SCHOOL TEACHERS’ TRAINING for women. But, with the start of the PRE-SCHOOL (PLAY-GROUP, NURSERY, LKG, UKG), parents started demanding higher classes and therefore, pre-school was upgraded to PRIMARY SCHOOL within a year and land was acquired around 2 Km. away to develop a full-fledged Class 12 College.

With this vertical growth, we have prioritized providing quality education to children by starting TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME from July, 2025.

For children between 3 to 8 years, aged below 6, the environment plays the most important role in growth and learning and this environment is made-up of observational and experiential learning. This is possible only in a play school environment where the ideal learning pedagogy is experiential learning in an environment of peers and teachers, which can be created only in a school setting. Modern teaching tools and technology can only help to some extent at this stage and that too, with the active involvement of parents at home and/or teachers at school, while an ideal school grooms its students to become self-learners.

ECCE stands for EARLY CHILD CARE & EDUCATION. While the above programmes are focused on EARLY CHILD EDUCATION (ECE), intervention in the field of EARLY CHILD CARE is also planned by the Society, for which occasional seminars, symposia and workshops will be organized for parents, guardians and other stakeholders and ARTICLES and LINKS for ECCE, where focus will be kept on both prospective mother and child care, thereby supporting government initiative of Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) through our initiative, for which, information on a regular basis will be provided through the link PARENTING TIPS (Click Here) on our website.
