About Us

Mrs. Olive Myrtle Massey, an excellent educationist, a disciplinarian par excellence and a person dedicated to the cause of child care and education, started a school for children in Rajrooppur, Allahabad named St. Xavier Christian School, back in 1978, under the aegis of St. Xavier Christian Society, a society formed for providing quality education. Famous as ‘बड़ी मैडम’ in area around Rajrooppur, she served the cause of child education in this area when there was no school around and the area was still developing. She served as Founder Principal of the school till she was called by her Heavenly Father. She is the moving spirit behind this endeavour and the Founder of the School and Society.

Her son, Dr. M. Massey, has been in the field of higher education since 1973 and served as teacher of Physics and later as the Principal of Ewing Christian College, Allahabad, for more than seventeen years. During this course, he was instrumental in establishing a Teachers’ Training College and contributed in developing e-learning platform to make the technologically enhanced learning accessible to all overcoming the restriction of time and space. In sacred memory of his mother, Dr. M. Massey, decided to contribute in Early Childhood Care and Education as per The Vision of National Education Policy, 2020 and established “OLIVE MEMORIAL ECCE RESEARCH INSTITUTE”.
